latte's vacation...... and hi to "jb"

i am totally in love with latte. she stayed with us for 5 days and was constantly by our sides. whether we were in the kitchen cooking or in the garden, she just had to be there. basically, we had no choice. one look at her sad eyes/ expression....... you could tell she wanted to be part of the family and perhaps be helpful to us! i totally enjoyed having her around. i am quite sure that she had a great time as well. typical of golden retrievers, latte is very friendly and non-aggressive.



she is also very affectionate and just loves to lean on me or put her head on my lap. so cute!


all in all, dj and i had a wonderful experience of owning a dog for 5 days........ i forsee more "dog" stories coming your way........ stories of our own dog!

Gengki and Latte: Two Sweeties

Gengki and Latte are my brother's and sister-in-law's babies. These beautiful and gentle animals are very well behaved. Next weekend, DJ and I will be taking care of Latte, the Golden Retriever. I will have to prepare our resident kitty "Noel" for her surprise guest. She enjoys watching the neighborhood dogs from our living room window. But, to be in the same room as one, that may be a complete different matter. We'll just have to take it one step at a time and make sure that Noel has a pleasant experience. On the other hand, happy-go-lucky Latte won't be a problem at all. She'll probably be bouncing around as usual and hoping to have a go at Noel! ............now i'm feeling anxious............. :-))
